Who are we?

Our Story

Created in September 2017, "Un Cadre pour l'Enfant" (UCPE) is a non-profit association aiming to contribute to the blossoming and well-being of children in developing countries.

It all started with a group of friends who saw themselves as fortunate to have had choice in their educational and career paths, and wondered how they could help young children so that they too would have choices as well.

Our efforts are focused on the objective of facilitating children's access to education in the long term. It is around this objective that students, young workers and professionals have come together.

Our projects are implented in developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and have three main areas of focus: Education, Environment and Art.

Education
Un Cadre Pour l'Enfant (UCPE) wants to make school more accessible and improve learning conditions. The aim of this first element is to enable children who cannot go to school (for various or diverse reasons) to access educarion that will enable them to develop in society.
Environment
The project of the association "Un Cadre Pour l'Enfant" is to raise awareness of the need to respect the environment by respecting the children's living environment. Our objective is to help children become aware of their environment and to put in place strategies to preserve it. The idea is to work with local associations in order to be better anchored and to better understand the immediate environment of the structures in which we intervene.
Culture
The idea through this field is to value the culture of the children and to awaken them to art and creativity. Pupils will be able to appreciate their skills, abilities and competences and thus improve their perception and self-esteem. Our action will focus on the creation of artistic objects using collected materials and waste, on the revaluation of local artistic cultures and on an opening to foreign cultures.

The UCPE is composed of active members and volunteers.

Among the active members are the members of the board, which is comprised of the various managers of the association, and in particular the managers of the departments (fundraising, communication and events).

Being a volunteer of the association Un Cadre Pour l'Enfant gives you the opportunity to participate in the organisation of events, in order to ensure that they run smoothly on the big day. It is also the possibility to participate in the association's travels.
